NOMINATIONS FOR 2ND VP 2012 - 2013

Dear Western Region Leaders, Chapter Leaders and IPMA-HR Members: 

On behalf of the Western Region Board, I am writing to solicit your nominations for the position of Second Vice President 2012-2013 for the Western Region Board.

The Second Vice-President is one of five voting members of the Western Board, whose main responsibility during the first year is to chair the Awards Committee, tasked with soliciting and recommending awardees for the Muriel Morse and Agency Awards that will be presented at the 2013 Western Region Conference in Southern California. The Second Vice President of 2012-2013 becomes the First Vice President in 2013-14, and Western Region President in 2014-2015.

There is no shortage of talented, dedicated individuals in our membership, who might be interested in serving in this capacity.  In order for the Board’s Nominations Committee to collect information on all nominees, review their qualifications and make appropriate recommendations to the Board and the membership, we need ample time and information on all nominations. 

Please use the attached form BELOW to submit your nominations.  The deadline for nominations is Friday, January 20, 2012.

Please note that while it is not necessary for the Nominator to have all pertinent information about the person they are nominating, the more complete the information, the better for the nominating committee.  Members of the Nominations Committee may contact Nominees for additional information. Individual members of the Western Region as well as chapters may submit nominations.
