Training Opportunity:  The Central California Chapter will host the "Developing Competencies for HR Success" training!

Understand and apply the 20 Competencies in the IPMA-HR Competency Model, and begin the process to achieve your HR Professional Certification.

IPMA-HR strives to encourage excellence in public sector human resources, promote continuous learning and develop the current and next generation of leaders. To that end, IPMA-HR offers two internationally recognized certification programs: the IPMA-CP and the IPMA-CS.  These programs equip you with the tools to:

  • Enhance knowledge
  • Build skills
  • Advance your career
  • Receive industry-wide recognition

Both certifications require successful completion of the Competency Exam.

The IPMA-HR competency model training program – Developing Competencies for HR Success – is designed to help you pass the Competency Exam and to advance your career by teaching the benefits of HR competencies, how to apply them, and how to integrate them into business plans. It is the best way to become a strategic player within your organization, and will help you and your staff shift from managing "transactional issues" to "people-related business transformational issues."

The Central California Chapter will host the four-day Developing Competencies for HR Success training in Merced, CA on March 22 - 23 and April 5 - 6.  Register before Wednesday, February 16.
