It was a pleasure meeting some of you at the Leadership Conference in Nashville and I look forward to meeting those of you who were unable to attend.
Allow me to remind you about next year’s Western Region IPMA-HR Conference, which will be held at the beautifully historic Embassy Suites Portland Downtown on April 27-30, 2011. The 2011 Conference Committee is hard at work putting the finishing touches to what will be a great conference. As it becomes available, information about the conference will be posted on our conference page.

“Reaching New Heights”
The Western Region (WR) IPMA-HR Board is now receiving proposals for the 2012 Western Region IPMA-HR conference location. Western Region Chapters are encouraged to complete the attached proposal and submit their interest for hosting the 2012 conference, which will be held in the Spring of 2012. Information regarding hosting the conference is provided in the attachment. Please submit your interest no later than September 30, 2010.
Hope to see you in Seattle at the International IPMA-HR conference on October 2-6, 2010 and save the date now to attend the WRIPMA-HR 2011 conference in Portland.
