Ahoy, Mates! It’s time to set your sights on San Diego and plan to join our expert Captains in learning to Navigate New Horizons. The Readiness Group has prepared a number of exercises for you to make ready to set sail. “Make All Preparations to Get Underway!” Make Ready for Sea (Pre-Conference Sessions) Select from one of two General Quarters trainings. The trainings will be held prior to setting sail on April 28th from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Cost for one session is $75 up to and including March 26, 2010 and $95 starting on March 27, 2010. Advanced Investigation Methods with Irma Rodriguez Moisa, Esq. of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo. This session will delve into the intricacies of conducting an investigation and the documentation that is required. At the end of three hours, you will have received many tools to help you in this important area. Mediation Skills – Doing It The Right Way with National Conflict Resolution Center. An important skill in our HR Toolbox is the skill of mediation – how to resolve those pesky problems that arise on a daily basis between people, departments, work groups, etc. This session will provide you with the foundation of mediation and how to use it in the workplace. Anchor’s Aweigh! (Conference Begins!) We lift anchor and set sail at 1:00 pm on April 28th. We have an exciting roster of experts ready to help you navigate through the rough seas of HR.
